  • In a bowl, add the butter melted in the microwave or in a saucepan, then add half a teaspoon of salt.
  • Add the powdered sugar.
  • Add the vanilla sugar.
  • Zest the two lemons.
  • Add the lemon zest to the bowl and mix with a mixer on low speed.
  • Add an egg.
  • Add the juice squeezed from the two lemons, strained through a sieve to remove any seeds.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  • Add the flour mixture to the batter.
  • Stir well with a mixer until smooth. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 3 hours, covered with plastic wrap.
  • Form small balls from the dough with wet hands and roll them in powdered sugar.
  • Roll the balls in powdered sugar so that they are generously coated on all sides.
  • Arrange the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them because they will rise and spread as they bake. Bake at 180 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
  • After baking, let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Then serve these delicious, lemon-flavored cookies!
