  • 5.3 oz butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 pcs lemons zest + juice

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, add the butter melted in the microwave or in a saucepan, then add half a teaspoon of salt.

  7. Add the juice squeezed from the two lemons, strained through a sieve to remove any seeds.

  8. Mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl.

  10. Stir well with a mixer until smooth. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 3 hours, covered with plastic wrap.

  11. Form small balls from the dough with wet hands and roll them in powdered sugar.

  13. Arrange the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them because they will rise and spread as they bake. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 13-15 minutes.

  14. After baking, let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Then serve these delicious, lemon-flavored cookies!
