- Chicken fillet4
- Sunflower oil⅓ cup
- Soy sauce⅓ cup
- Garlic powder (or dried minced garlic)2 tsp
- Smoked paprika2 tsp
- Ddried Italian herbs or Herbes de Provence1 tsp
- Any of your favorite seasonings
- Place the chicken fillets in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sunflower oil, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic, spices, and herbs.
- Stir everything well.
- Pour the spice mixture over the fillets, turning each piece several times to distribute evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours.
- After the time has passed, remove from the bowl and place on a cutting board. Tie the two pieces of chicken together with thick string.
- This yields two pieces of ham.
- Transfer them to a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the chicken ham in the oven until it cools completely.
- Place on a cutting board and trim off any excess string. The ham retains its shape perfectly and has an appetizing color. Cut into thin slices before serving.
- The ham has an attractive color due to the addition of paprika, and a very spicy and rich flavor due to the garlic and soy sauce. It is served cold or hot, with a side dish.
