Apple cake with grated apples is a cozy, easy-to-make dessert filled with natural sweetness and spice. The cake bakes into a moist, tender texture with a caramelized apple layer inside. Perfect to serve warm or chilled, with powdered sugar.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- salt
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 6 apples
- for grease butter
- for sprinkle powdered sugar
Instructions
- Break the eggs into a deep bowl.
- Add the sugar.
- Add the vanilla essence.
- Sprinkle a little salt, and mix with mixer.
- Add the flour mixed with baking powder, and stir until smooth.
- Grease the baking pan with butter, and pour half of the mixture. Add the grated apples, well drained of liquid. Pour the second half of the mixture.
- Bake in oven at 180°C (350°F), for 25 minutes. Sprinkle apple cake with powdered sugar.
