Method
- In a bowl, add 2 eggs and sugar, stir.
- Add the warm milk and butter at room temperature (do not melt on the stove or in the microwave) and the oil and salt. Stir until smooth.
- In a small bowl, place the yeast, a little lukewarm milk, and a teaspoon of sugar. Mix and leave covered for 5-7 minutes. When it has foamed, add to the dough.
- Add the flour little by little and knead until you get a dough that does not stick to your hands.
- Leave to rise in a warm place for 1.5 hours.
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into 3-4 pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin into fairly thin circles.
- Then cut into triangles, place the jam on the edge (use jam that is not runny, otherwise it will run when baking).
- Roll out the croissants. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper, beat an egg and brush the croissants with it. Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on your oven, they are ready when they turn golden brown.
