Banana Bread is a simple and quick banana cake recipe that saves overripe bananas. If you have bananas in the fridge for a long time, use them to make banana cake, which is made from a few basic ingredients such as eggs, butter, flour, and oatmeal. Prepare this cake for a delicious snack with a cup of tea.

Banana cake is not only delicious, but also a perfect way to use bananas that have started to overripen. Instead of letting them go to waste, you can turn them into a delicious and easy-to-make dessert. If you add nuts, such as walnuts, almonds, or peanuts, you will achieve a perfect balance between the sweetness of the bananas and the intense flavor of the nuts.

  • First, melt the butter in a double boiler and let it cool.
  • I sliced the bananas and mashed them with a fork until they became puree.
  • Add the sugar, a pinch of salt, and the egg to the cooled butter and beat with a whisk or mixer on low speed for a few minutes.
  • Then add the flour mixture to the liquid ingredients and mix everything together. Add the walnuts, sunflower seeds, and finely chopped sesame seeds to the dough.
  • You can add chocolate chips, various candied fruits, pumpkin seeds, as desired. Mix everything together and pour the batter into a loaf pan lined with baking paper. Sprinkle generously with sunflower seeds and sesame seeds.
  • I baked it for about 30-40 minutes at 180 °C.
  • It can be served slightly warm, but it is best served completely cold.
