Method

  • First, dissolve the salt, fresh yeast, and sugar in a mixture of warm milk and water. Mix the ingredients well so that the yeast dissolves completely.
  • Add the softened butter, half of the beaten egg, and refined butter to the yeast mixture.
  • Pour the flour in, mixing the dough with a spoon. As soon as the dough starts to form lumps, start kneading it by hand. Gradually add flour until the dough is no longer sticky. You may need more or less flour, so it is important to check the consistency of the dough. This is because flour and its moisture content vary depending on the manufacturer and how the product is stored.
  • Form a ball from the dough. Cover the container with a towel or plastic wrap. Leave in a warm place for one and a half to two hours. During this time, the dough should rise three times.
  • Divide the dough into 8-10 pieces. The approximate weight of each piece is 75-80 grams. Knead each piece of dough to form round rolls. Place them on a baking tray, cover with a towel, and leave to rise for another forty minutes.
  • Brush the buns with the mixture of the remaining beaten egg and a tablespoon of milk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown.
  • The fluffy and delicious yeast buns for burgers are ready! Enjoy!
  • These buns can be used to make a wide variety of burgers, from classic burgers to Kraft burgers. The buns slice perfectly and have a soft, spongy crumb. They can be stored perfectly if wrapped in cling film.
