Looking for a hearty, flavor-packed meal that feels like a hug in a bowl? Spaghetti with Meatballs in Tomato Sauce is the answer. Start by mixing ground pork with finely chopped onion, crushed garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and an egg, then form the perfect bite-sized meatballs and pan-fry until golden. Meanwhile, you cook spaghetti and whisk together an aromatic tomato sauce—sautéed onions and garlic folded into simmering sun-ripened tomatoes, seasoned with oregano, basil, and a hint of sugar.
The meatballs fold into the sauce, and once the pasta is al dente, everything is combined and served with grated Parmesan on top. Simple ingredients, big in flavor—perfect for cozy dinners or gathering loved ones around the table.

- Ground pork7 oz
- Long-grain white rice, soaked 2–3 hours and drained3 tbsp
- Carrots, grated⅓
- Onion, finely chopped⅓
- Egg1
- Garlic2 cloves
- Tomato paste3 tbsp
- Salt and black pepper
- Fresh or dried herbs (parsley, dill)
- Water
- Sunflower oil
- A little flour
- Fry grated carrots and chopped onions;
- Combine in a glass (or any other) deep container egg (slightly beat it with a fork), and minced meat. Also add rice, fried vegetables, salt and pepper. Stir;
- If necessary, add a little flour to make the mixture pliable and hold its shape, mix again;
- Heat a deep frying pan or saucepan, and pour in the oil. At the same time start forming small balls of the prepared minced meat, and put them in the pan. To prevent the mince from sticking to your hands, you can smear them with sunflower oil;
- Pour water over lightly fried meatballs so that they are more than half hidden. Salt, add finely chopped garlic, herbs, and tomato paste. Stew for 15-20 minutes. Be sure to cover it with a lid;
- In the meantime, boil the spaghetti, and rinse it. And lightly fry them.
- Garnish the dish as desired, and serve hot. You can offer additional sauces, dark bread, and a lot of fresh herbs. Grated hard cheese – will perfectly complement the flavor and spice up the dish.
