Apple and cinnamon rice pudding is a classic dessert that can be prepared in no time and tastes delicious. The slightly tart flavors of the apples go perfectly with the inviting aroma of cinnamon and the softness of the rice. It’s an old recipe, but perfect for cold days or when you want a quick and easy dessert. You can eat it hot or cold, and if you like, you can add a little honey on top.

Method
- Wash the rice in cold water several times until the water runs clear.
- Pour the water into a saucepan and turn on the stove to high heat to bring the water to a boil. Then add the washed rice and a little salt. Simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the rice is completely cooked.
- Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Five minutes before turning off the heat under the rice, add the apple cubes, sugar, a little cinnamon, and a knob of butter.
- Stir everything together and cook for another 5 minutes or more, checking that the apples are soft. Enjoy!
