Method

  • Mix the cottage cheese, sugar, salt, semolina, and egg until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. The dough should be moderately firm, retain its shape, and be easy to mold. If the cottage cheese is runny, add more semolina.
  • Sprinkle the table with flour, roll out the dough, and divide it into equal parts. Form a ball from each part and flatten it slightly with your palm. Use flour to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands and the table.
  • Place the syrniki on a hot pan and fry them on low heat on both sides until golden brown.
  • Fry for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
