  • Mix 4-5 tablespoons of tomato sauce with water.

  • Pour the mixture of water and sauce into the saucepan with the stuffed peppers. Pour in enough water to cover the peppers. Cook the peppers over low heat for one hour and 10 minutes. If the water level drops significantly during cooking, add a little more water to cover the peppers.
